/ Who we are
Sun Creature Studio is an international animation production company based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Our young team consists of four Danes and three Frenchmen, who graduated from Gobelins, Paris and The Animation Workshop, Viborg. Sun Creature was born through a close friendship and common drive to create high level kick-ass animation – going all the way from first sketch to finished picture.
We believe in a strong communication platform, in which a close connection to our working relationships and community mean everything. In a bid for complete transparency, we share behind-the-scene content on social media platforms, with the vision of inspiring and encouraging dialogue..
/ What we do
Sun Creature Studio works within a wide range of high quality 2D productions & graphics, striving to work on meaningful story-driven projects, with the intention of creating a strong impact on our audience.
/ In-House productions & Co-productions
We create our own productions, such as the crowd- and public funded project The Reward – Tales of Alethrion, from where adventure, sci-fi fantasy and epicness are key words.
With access to film funds, distributors and broadcasters, we co-produce feature films – currently in collaboration with Nørlum & Final Cut for Real.
/ Service Work
Our fields of expertise : Visual Development | Storyboard | 2D FX & Character Animation | Environment Design | Motion Graphics | Compositing
/ Consulting & teaching
With two successful Kickstarter campaigns, we have built a strong knowledge within the field of Crowdfunding & Social Media Management, which we only love to share.
We are often invited to various markets, festivals and conferences for talks on these subjects. As artists and filmmakers, we have a dream of inspiring and passing knowledge on to the next generation through teaching and mentoring, such as our master-class in Art Direction which we did at The Animation School in Cape Town, South Africa.
